Fast & Friendly Urgent Care

We accept various insurance plans, including Aetna -  PPO, HMO (NC Only), Aetna State Employee Health Plan - Preferred Provider, BCBS NC- PPO, POS, HMO (Blue Home), BCBS Out of State - PPO Only, Cigna - PPO Only, and Medcost. 

We accept Medicare and Medicaid for ages under 19, including Direct, AmeriHealth Caritas, Healthy Blue, Healthy Blue Care Together, Trillium, UnitedHealth Community Plan, and Wellcare. 

We also participate with PPO, POS, and HMO plans offered by PHCS/Multiplan, United Healthcare and Sentara/Optima. Tricare Select or Prime are available.

We do not participate with all out-of-state HMO insurances policies, adult medicaid (ages over 19), Athem Healthkeepers, or BCBS Carefirst. This also includes Blue Home out-of-area primary care coverage. Please refer to the require program icon for coverage details. 

We bill insurance as a family practice, and we DO NOT bill as an urgent care. Our fee schedules and reimbursements are based on primary care rates for Surf Pediatrics and Medicine; therefore, charges will be LOWER than those at other urgent care centers. 

The patient is responsible for all charges not reimbursed by their insurance carrier, including but not limited to coinsurance, deductibles, and any charges associated with collection activity. 

Affordable self-pay rates are available for patients without insurance. Our team will guide you through fee options for exams, diagnostics, and treatments to ensure quality care is accessible.

Extended hours are available outside our regular schedule from 8 am to 4:30 pm. A small after-hours fee may apply for visits during these times.
